We could walk to the lake or heated outdoor pool, a discount supermarket, and the town center in about five minutes, and the bus stop is only two minutes away. With the Tegernsee guest card, local buses are free, and the bus also goes to Tegernsee station. Trains to Munich Central Station run almost hourly, with the full trip taking around an hour and a half. It’s easy to get to the state capital without a car. The lake is practically on the doorstep, handy for swimming, hiking, cycling, or skating. The apartment itself is modern and tastefully furnished, with two double bedrooms and the kitchen appliances you need. There’s a terrace with outdoor furniture and a nice view of the Wallberg summit, where you can catch the evening sun. Underground parking is available too. The landlord was very friendly and helpful, and communication was excellent.

Everything was clean and modern in this nearly new ground-floor apartment, and communication with the landlord was quick and easy. It has two bedrooms with very comfortable beds and built-in wardrobes, plus a large living and dining area with a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a roomy terrace with garden furniture. The building has an elevator and underground parking, and the lake is within walking distance in Rottach-Egern/Tegernsee. It’s functional and has what you need, though the furnishings are minimalist and don’t make it especially cozy. I wouldn’t use the terrace: it has no shelter from the wind and feels completely exposed, visible from every side.

The lake is just a short walk away, and the modern apartment is easy to get to. The underground parking is a real plus. There are a few small things that could use an update, but I’d still recommend the place 99.99%. 😉

We slept well in the box-spring beds, and the apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed for a lovely holiday, plus a great terrace. The lake and the center of Rottach-Egern are nearby, and the owners were very friendly.
