Weingut Klein-Götz

I can't really say anything about the winery itself or its service, but the "Fantasy" wine comes along with us everywhere...

We were happy with our first evening at the festival and spent quite a bit, 140 euros on drinks and another 100 on food. We were looking forward to going back two days later, and had even reserved a table. Instead, the table had already been taken, and we were turned away very rudely. There's no hospitality here. They've lost us as customers, and we won't recommend this winery.

We've been regulars at this wonderful winery since 2020. I haven't stayed in the rooms, so I can't comment on them. The wine tasting and wine hike are well worth recommending, and the wine is above average compared with other wineries we've visited.

We booked through GetYourGuide and had a fantastic day. There was a fairly large group, in case that matters to you, but it didn't bother us at all. First came an hour-long hike through the vineyards, with lots to learn about the wine region, winemaking, and more. Then we sat down with everyone for six delicious wine tastings. Each wine came with information, and there was time to ask questions. Afterward, we had a tasty buffet of traditional Austrian dishes, then stayed together chatting for a while. You could also buy bottles to take home. The whole day took about four hours, not counting travel time. A perfect day.
