Spreewald Pension Spreeaue

The service staff were incredibly friendly, and our maisonette apartment was spacious and very clean during our week at the guesthouse in early June 2026. But the price felt completely out of proportion. We were willing to pay €40 per person per night for an extra bed, just not for a toddler under two. Ms. Urban wasn't willing to compromise, even though our granddaughter also uses the facilities. The guesthouse is beside a busy main road, and the lawn area has only a few sun loungers and large tables, with no play areas for children. Charging a toddler like an adult is unjustified. Renting one of the boats on site costs €36 a day, the highest daily rate in the whole region. We won't recommend this guesthouse or stay here again. Best regards, the Engel family from Bötzow.

It was much easier to arrive and get around by car than with public transport. Once there, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful spot for a nature holiday in the Spreewald, with canoes to rent directly from the hotel and a canal right there to set off on. There are also lots of cycling and hiking trails nearby, perfect for relaxing outdoors.

Booking at short notice was no problem at all. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast staff were very friendly. We'd book here again anytime.

We came by on a whim and were welcomed so warmly. The rooms are clean and practical, and the real treat is being able to head straight out on a long paddle in the guesthouse's own boats. It's also a lovely base for bike rides, with somewhere to store the bicycles. Breakfast is made with care and has plenty of choice, and the staff are attentive and happy to help with personal requests where they can. There isn't sleek designer decor, but there is quiet, untouched nature. We felt right at home and will definitely come back.
