A lovely spot in a German town. The owner speaks English and is a super guy. Breakfast was excellent, with local eggs and bread. Highly recommend 👍

I celebrated my birthday there recently and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, especially the buffet. The bill was another pleasant surprise, it’s a great place to host a party for a reasonable price. Thanks again to the Golden Lion team.

The buffet was the standout, it nearly took everyone’s breath away. Several guests told me they’d never seen such a spread, and the chef even doubled as our DJ. An hour before the party, the guest count jumped by 20, which gave the chef a shock, but he handled it perfectly and made sure everyone had enough to eat. We celebrated our birthday on December 5th with a big group. We’d planned everything months ahead, and the result was wonderful. The decorations and table settings were all just right. Many guests stayed at the hotel and were very happy with their rooms and breakfast. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped, from the kitchen and waitstaff to the owner. It was a wonderful party. Sincerely, Simone Steininger
