A cozy, really nice place, with good communication from the owners. The apartment is fully equipped and would suit a couple or small family. I recommend it :)

The key pickup is easy, through a lockbox and code. Inside, the apartment is cozy, nicely furnished, and has a very comfortable bed and a kitchen with everything you need. It’s also excellent value for the money. For getting around, there’s a parking space beside the apartment, or you can park in Schleswig, about 2 km away. The Viking Museum and Haithabu Viking Village are especially close by, and a well-stocked Edeka with a café, plus several good pubs and restaurants, are within walking distance. Evenings are very quiet; there’s ordinary traffic on the street in the mornings.

The beds were very comfortable, and we felt at ease in the well-kept, tastefully furnished apartment. It’s centrally located, and everything was wonderfully straightforward. We were travelling very late, around 23 Uhr, but the owner was thankfully still awake and very friendly. She explained how to get to the key safe. Since we had to leave very early, we could simply leave the overnight payment on the table.

The apartment was clean and very nice inside. The bedroom was spacious, the living room adequate, and the kitchen fully equipped. The kitchen and dining area felt a bit cramped, though, since the bathroom is also accessed from there. There was garden furniture and a grill outside, but the weather meant I couldn’t use them. Both bedroom windows faced the street, which had surprisingly heavy through traffic. The main road bypasses the town, and mornings were quite noisy. I also appreciate a small folder with local attraction flyers, regional tips and useful everyday details, like where to find a bank, bakery, doctor or pharmacy. Here the supermarket was easy to spot, just look outside. This is just a neutral comment.
