These cozy cabins sit in a beautiful spot, and the family running them is friendly. It’s a good base for hikes in the northern Black Forest. I’d recommend it!

The hosts really make the place, they’re warm, helpful, always smiling, and happy to chat. We spent a week there and joined a BBQ and a flammkuchen evening, cooked in their huge pizza, bread, and flammkuchen oven. The property looks out over a valley with lovely views, and it’s family friendly. There are unusual options like spending a night in a hay barn, though we haven’t tried that yet.
