There were far too many people squeezed into a very small house. The owner didn’t come to welcome us; he sent his 14-year-old daughter instead. She had no experience, was nervous and embarrassed, and was shaking because she didn’t know what to do. She’d welcomed another guest into the wrong room, so they had to put that poor guy out of the room that was supposedly ours. Credit to her, though, she spoke English really well.

The setting is peaceful, and the owners are warm and helpful. Both the separate rooms and the holiday apartment are modern, nicely furnished, and spotless. The price for what you get is very good.

We rented the guesthouse for relatives and friends attending a family celebration over the weekend. Mr. Winkler gave us a very warm welcome, and everyone felt at home. The place was clean, comfortable, and modern. Guests could also use the large, well-equipped kitchen to make their own food when they wanted.

We booked for the weekend at short notice, and everything went smoothly. We were greeted warmly. The guesthouse is quiet but easy to reach from the motorway, and the rooms are lovely. It’s all new and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommend it.
