The room we booked wasn't provided, and they wouldn't refund us. We were offered another room informally, outside the official website, which made no sense to me. The attic room was actually tiny and you had to climb in through a skylight, completely unsuitable for a family with a child. The place was filthy, communication was very poor, and the owner barely speaks German. With no reception, anyone could walk in and take the keys. I don't understand the positive reviews. Definitely not recommended.

It's absolutely disgusting. This isn't a hotel, since there's no reception, and nobody speaks German. The building and rooms are incredibly run-down. They're asking for extra cash after the fact, and we recorded the conversation. You can't cancel.

Dirty, dilapidated rooms and no reception or communication. A terrible hotel!

There's only a phone number to call, so there's no one you can ask about your room. The hotel has no staff or reception, and anyone can walk inside.

Good hostel for the price.
