The basics were a mess. There was no toilet paper or soap by the toilets, and although staff came by daily, they didn’t clean the shared areas properly. The sensor lighting covered the whole building and went off while I was showering. Hot water lasted only a couple of minutes, and only after I’d let cold water run for at least 10 minutes. The internet connection was unreliable too, and when I raised it, they claimed I hadn’t entered the right username or password, which felt like they were insulting my intelligence. The whole building reminded me of Soviet Russia in the 80's. Stay away!

Stay away. It felt like one of those sketchy places in movies that nobody wants to go to.

Check-in itself went smoothly enough, but the area felt bizarre, right in the middle of an industrial park. The basement room was a disaster, with mold all over the walls and baseboards. The bed wasn’t properly clean either, which would be awful for anyone with allergies. I emailed a complaint and was thankfully moved to another room quickly. It was better, but there was still mold in the toilet and no running water. I can’t recommend this place.

The room was clean, and at least it had a kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. But I’m used to a lot, and this was too much. I’d rather pay more for a decent room.
