Hotel Navigare

Everything felt clear and well organized, and I felt looked after throughout. Solveig deserves a special mention: she was calm, attentive, and truly caring, and went out of her way to make things easy and stress-free. You don’t often meet someone so capable and dedicated. The whole team was warm, professional, and efficient from the moment we arrived. I’d recommend the place, especially Solveig. Thanks for making our experience so positive!

The room was fresh and very clean, and it was clear it was being looked after. The bathroom was just as clean and had everything needed. I also appreciated that the minibar was included in the room price, a nice touch that made the stay more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and easygoing. We joked around with reception, and I especially enjoyed chatting with the breakfast restaurant waiters, who paid close attention to the details. The hotel has an interesting, understated design that gives you things to notice without feeling boring. It has proper four-star quality and good value for money, so I can recommend it. The heat was uncomfortable, though, because there’s no AC. We had to leave the room door open to get even a little cool air. There’s no gym either, which disappointed me. With AC and a gym, it would feel perfect.

I was in Buxtehude for work and got to see some of the lovely town while I was there. I’d like to come back with my family and stay at Hotel Navigare. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the restaurant food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel Navigare calls itself a four-star hotel, but I’d give it five stars.

The breakfast had an excellent range and quality, and the bathrooms had big showers with a generous flow of water. The building feels contemporary despite being very old, and its high ceilings make the rooms feel much more spacious. Great hotel for the money.
