Hotel Celler Auszeit

Being right in the old town was the one good thing about this stay. Check-in at the "Momentum" restaurant was a hassle, and the room wasn't clean. The listed TV, hairdryer, and Wi-Fi weren't available, and the Wi-Fi password didn't work either. I messaged the landlord and got no reply. Very disappointing.

We arrived to find that the room we'd booked a year ahead was no longer available, even though the hotel had confirmed it by phone beforehand. The hotel gave us little help finding somewhere else to stay. Being left without a place in an unfamiliar city is extremely difficult, which is why I rated the service so poorly.

The rooms cost far too much for what you get. There was no breakfast, reception, or room cleaning, and the basic furnishings didn't feel up to hotel standards. The bathroom needs a thorough clean and a new shower. Check-in through the Moments Restaurant instead of a reception desk was very inconvenient. At night, doors kept slamming and conversations carried through the extremely noisy rooms. The kettle and tea didn't make up for the poor sleep.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean when I arrived. Its rustic furnishings suited the old town setting. There's no reception, but the Moments restaurant staff were very friendly. There was no TV, despite what the online listing said, though it didn't bother me since I don't watch TV. Nothing major to complain about, and I'd gladly return. I'll write a separate review of the restaurant.
