Parking was convenient, and it stayed quiet at night. The rooms were clean and roomy, and breakfast had a great selection. It felt like an interesting trip through time and place.

The arcade upstairs, with its pinball machines, is a fun extra. Check-in at the diner was easy, and the service there was friendly. Even with the nearby streetcar, the room stayed quiet behind the triple-glazed windows. The American-style motel theme is carried through consistently, without the grimy feel people associate with real American dives. Rooms are clean and modern. I especially liked having a proper shower cubicle instead of one of those common bathtubs with a shower curtain, and the water pressure was excellent. A good choice if you're after this kind of motel with decent standards.
