The wine selection is impressive, and the food is very good and reasonably priced in a lovely setting. Some of the waiters could be friendlier, but otherwise it's an excellent place for a cosy evening. This review is only about the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our meal at Alexxanders. We had time to relax between courses and enjoy eating outside in the courtyard. The food was consistently well prepared, and the service was excellent. All the staff spoke English, and menus are available in several languages if you need them. Highly recommended!

The courtyard garden has a calm atmosphere that makes you feel removed from the city. The hotel is in a central district, in an adapted building, and the interior feels modern with a fresh take on retro style. Rooms are very spacious and have modern equipment, as the photos show. Breakfast has a moderately broad selection, but everything was very tasty. The restaurant menu is short and high quality. A very nice hotel in the eastern German style.

We found this restaurant by chance. It's inside a hotel, away from the center, and not easy to locate. The elegant place has chic furnishings and only a few seats. The staff were friendly and professional, and explained the whole menu when we arrived. We had Spanish steak with rice and asparagus with Sauce béarnaise, and it was delicious. I've tried other restaurants in the city, but this one is the best for good food and a great atmosphere. It's pricier than other places in town, but worth it.
