Breakfast was chaotic, and one waiter was shockingly rude to guests. We had never experienced that before. Dinner was just as frustrating: prices felt much too high for the unprofessional service, waits went past 90 minutes, and parts of our order were forgotten several times. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Getting there without a car is difficult, and there was no pickup from the train station. The rooms are tiny, with very small, uncomfortable beds and a ridiculously small washbasin. To us, this felt more like a hostel or youth hostel than a hotel. We won't return, and would choose an Airbnb or somewhere else nearby.

The staff treated all the guests extremely well, and the restaurant souvenirs were very reasonably priced. We also got free mini golf on the small course, a fun extra in the package. The place wasn't as fancy as the online listing made it seem. Dinner was homely, breakfast was sparse, and the room felt like a low-budget hotel room, with poor lighting in the bathroom. There were awful numbers of spiders on the balcony, though thankfully the window had screens. It was okay for us because we got the package through an online deal.

The setting adds a lot to the stay, with the hotel surrounded by such beautiful landscape. This was my third time in Chorin, and I enjoyed it again. The food was delicious, and the rooms were spacious enough, clean, quiet, and bright. The staff are so friendly and ready to help, they make everyone feel welcome. Thanks again!

It's a nice escape from the busy city, with a big property surrounded by a lake and forest-like area. There's a sauna, bowling and mini golf. The room and breakfast were just okay. If you're vegan, be prepared to lose weight.

The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the new chef is very good. The surrounding land and lake are beautiful and easy to get out and enjoy, especially if you're looking for time in nature.
