The holiday homes were clean and tidy, and I’d definitely recommend them. The pillows and duvets could be better, though.

The location is fantastic for visitors. With a child, the great playground is about a 10-minute walk away, and the mining museum is also within walking distance. One sad change: the bakery around the corner is closing at the end of May 2025. We stayed in the large apartment, which was spacious and nicely furnished, with three double bedrooms and extra beds available. There’s loads of space and everything we could need, from a dishwasher, hairdryer and dishes to cutlery, a coffee maker and toaster. We were also greeted by a lovely welcome gift in the living room. The apartment and door labels were a little confusing: the key says Apartment 3, but the ground-floor door at the end of the hallway says Apartment 2. One small annoyance was the shower. It takes a long time for hot water to come through, then it’s more of a trickle. Oddly, the colder you set it, the more water comes out 😅.

The key safe makes contactless arrival flexible and convenient. The owners are friendly and easy to reach, and the clean holiday apartments have everything needed for daily life. Nothing was missing for us, and I highly recommend this place.
