We were worn out from traveling after leaving another hotel because it was dirty and run-down, then found this place at the last minute. What luck. They welcomed us so warmly, and the setting is lovely, with a garden where you can unwind. It's an old house and you can tell, but the bed and bathroom were really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. You can see and taste how much care and love the owners put into everything here. If you get the chance to book, definitely do it!

They even got an early breakfast ready so we could set off again, and we didn't go without a thing. We managed to book a room at this beautifully situated hotel at the last minute, so a big thank you for making it happen so quickly. From what we saw, it would be well worth staying longer. A gem in the Wendland region!

We stayed from the day after Christmas. I can't say whether the breakfast buffet is usually extensive, as the low occupancy might have made a difference. The buffet we were offered wasn't worth €15 per person. Apart from that, the positive reviews ring true.

We arrived on Sunday, and since we'd asked ahead, they served us food even though the restaurant was closed. The owner said, "I'm happy to do this for cyclists!" They were so helpful, and the service was excellent. Thanks for taking such good care of us. The place is charmingly furnished and impeccably maintained. Our room was lovely, and the pool sits beautifully in a garden paradise. There's also a self-service fridge, with reasonable prices. We were the only guests that night, yet they still laid out the full breakfast buffet for us. It certainly isn't a bargain, but the service was excellent.

The eggs and honey at breakfast were amazing, and there was plenty of good food. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It's a very cozy hotel in a lovely, quiet spot, and the host was friendly and polite. Excellent value for money. We'd be glad to come back.
