The food is traditional and tasty, and the views are beautiful enough for a postcard. The rooms are simple but just right. With horses and rolling hills around it, this place feels like a proper break from busy Munich, less than 45 minutes from downtown. If you can't stay overnight, make time for a meal. It's too good to miss.

The food was good, and the waitresses were really nice. The host, though, was rude whenever he came by our table, making comments about us having a big dog as if it were our fault. We'd mentioned the dog when we booked, so that was frustrating. We only ate at the restaurant.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner here. The restaurant terrace has a spectacular view of the Alps, and the food was excellent, Michelin-level. I can't speak to the hotel, but I'd definitely come back for another meal.

The portions are huge, and you can order a smaller size for some dishes. Service was quick, and I was seated even though I arrived without a reservation, though calling ahead is still a good idea. The food quality and the view make the detour worthwhile. The terrace view is phenomenal if you get a seat there.
