The breakfast room has big windows looking out toward Coburg’s old castle walls, which was lovely. I also liked the wholesome buffet and its broad range of healthy choices, especially on chilly winter days. The hotel feels cozy and homey, right in the center, with a supermarket and shopping center about a five-minute walk away.

We’ll definitely return for another romantic break. The wellness and fitness rooms exceeded what we expected, and the hotel is perfectly located. It’s clean, cozy, and romantic, with friendly, helpful staff. We had two amazing days here, and I agree with the other reviewers: it’s a hidden gem and probably the nicest choice in the region at this price.

The room was really nice, and the staff were helpful. It’s a quiet area with a great location. Breakfast costs extra, and the Canadian exchange rate made it feel a bit expensive for a light eater. There are plenty of coffee and pastry places in the square, just a two-minute walk away, which is a cheaper option.

The free minibar and refrigerator are especially useful for me. I’ve stayed here twice on business, and it’s been the most satisfying hotel I’ve found in Germany. From the top floor, the view through the windows is fantastic. Friendly staff, excellent service, and a very good breakfast too. If you’re staying in Coburg, this is the one I’d choose❗️

I particularly liked the food. The buffet has a good selection of high-quality items, eggs made to order, and espresso drinks available on request. My room was clean, modern, very quiet, and easy to darken. The hotel is right in central Coburg. It also seems to welcome dogs.
