Hotel Villa Victoria Coburg

Villa Victoria is THE place to stay in Coburg! It's a gorgeous historic listed house from a grand era, and we could walk to all the Coburg sights from its location. Our room was nice, with windows that kept the outside noise out. Breakfast was wonderful, served on beautiful china. There's some parking for cars, and the owners were extremely nice and thoughtful, with an eye for every detail.

It's an older building, so anyone with mobility issues should keep that in mind. Still, the accommodations were comfortable and the staff very friendly. Finding the hotel was tricky because Hotel Victoria Residence is directly across the street, and they hadn't made the limited parking nearby very clear. Once I parked, though, I didn't need the car again until checkout and the drive to the airport. Arriving by train would've avoided that issue altogether. All in all, a pleasant stay, and I'd come back.

We only stayed briefly, but had a wonderful time. The hotel is a lovely old villa near Coburg's old town. Inside it's very stylish and cleaner than most places, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The rooms were great, and the staff were friendly and spoke decent English. It's easy to find and comfortably within walking distance of the main train station. There was some fairly noisy construction nearby when I posted this, though that's clearly outside the hotel's control.
