We paid about 27€ per person per night, and for that price the clean room and really comfortable bed earned five stars from me. The shower in our room #4 couldn't hold a steady temperature, suddenly turning very hot or cold, though it seems like an easy fix. The tiny TV was the cutest little thing, haha. It's above a bar, so weekends get loud. With the windows shut, I measured people talking downstairs at under 40dB in the room most of the time, and free earplugs are left in the hallway. WiFi measured 6Mbit/s down and 250kBit/s up, with about 50ms ping. Parking is tricky in the city center, but I found a free spot on nearby Leibnitzallee each time I looked. The walk there is quite nice.

I arrived at 19:30, half an hour past the 19:00 check-in cutoff, because my train was delayed. Even though I had contacted them in advance, the pension ignored my calls and left me outside a locked door. They still charged a cancellation fee. The people were ridiculously rude.

They call it the best place in the world, and the friendly staff help sell the claim. There’s shokococolada, liquid Apfelstrudel, Keller beer and a variety of rums. Even the toilet paper policy is great. Would recommend!

The cocktails are really good and it's a nice place, but the staff are unfriendly. I also waited around 30 minutes for my drink.
