Hotel Hahnmühle 1323

It feels a little strange to have no breakfast and no contact with hotel staff, and I hope that doesn’t become standard everywhere. The room was very spacious, well equipped, and clean, in a historic building.

The blankets are tiny, and the table is too small to make using a laptop easy. Also, a street lamp shines through the window all night.

Great.

Getting the key was easy, and they called right away to see whether everything was okay and I was happy with the room. The phone arrangements were simple too. The building looks lovely inside and out, and the town center is an easy walk away. I liked the comfortable mattress, the coffee-making setup, and the bottle of water. Hot water came through the tap and shower straight away. I only stayed one night and had to leave too early to try breakfast. The room seemed clean, stylish, and welcoming at first, though a closer look showed a few things that need attention. The chair was worn, the sink was cracked enough to need replacing, and the baseboards should be secured. There were a few other small flaws too. Some people may not mind them, but I did.
