The steep access road is something to keep in mind, and the walk back from the old town takes 15-20 minutes. Still, we felt very comfortable at Kleine Moselchalet and would highly recommend it. It’s clean, well maintained, and tastefully furnished, with parking right outside. Reichsburg Castle is about a 20-minute walk away, and the old town about 10 minutes. We didn’t need the car in Cochem since everything was walkable. The hill is only suitable for strollers and walkers with electric assist.

We had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return, even though I don’t work nearby. The apartment is lovely, and on a nice day the view over Cochem is wonderful. Communication with the landlady was excellent, and she was very helpful if anything needed attention. Everything was great even during the pandemic.

We really liked this little apartment. Getting there and back is quite a challenge for flatlanders like us from Schleswig-Holstein, but manageable with an e-bike 😉

The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished, with lots of attention to detail. We had friendly contact with the landlords.

It’s modern, clean, and in a very quiet spot. Getting in touch with the landlord was easy. Great place, highly recommend :-)
