Apartment Airport

The owners were really flexible, even with a very last minute booking. It’s an affordable, nice place for a bigger group or family, with a fully equipped kitchen and a big table for card games. It is a bit far from the city centre, though the bus stop isn’t too far away. Getting from the airport bus station there is tricky, so download a map.

The rooms are fine, but the bathroom was truly filthy and there was mold on the bedroom walls. The cleanliness is nowhere near acceptable.

Traffic noise is really loud. There are noticeable love stains on the bed and in the bathroom, and the window sometimes bangs open because it isn’t secured properly.

We stayed three nights and had such a relaxing time. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, and we never heard a sound during quiet hours or at night. It’s only about five minutes from the airport, and you can park just two meters from the entrance. Outside there are two armchairs and a little table, useful for smokers, though we don’t smoke. Two bright spotlights come on with motion. Everything in the apartment felt thoughtfully maintained, and the owners were kind, responsive, and available whenever we had a question or problem. The bed is huge, comfortable, steady, and quiet, with little rugs on both sides. There’s a dining table that extends, plus a wooden chest of drawers and a closet with a coat rack. The TV has HD satellite channels, an adjustable arm so you can watch from bed or the table, and one remote for both the TV and satellite. Wi-Fi worked well, though it disconnected now and then and required entering the password again. The kitchenette has an induction hob, microwave, sink, and fridge with freezer, plus all sorts of things for cooking and eating: pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, glasses, cups, boards, a colander, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, napkins, and more. They also left oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, ground coffee, tea, chamomile tea, sugar, books, board games, a map of the colony, and a more detailed map showing nearby shops, markets, bakeries, and pharmacies. The bathroom was perfect and clean, with a spacious shower, a roomy mirror cabinet, and good lighting. A wonderful place to stay and unwind.
