Brücker Sportpark

We drove over 200km for a tennis tournament at the Brücker Sport Treff. Sadly, this was the worst indoor tennis court we’ve ever visited. It was cold and badly lit, there wasn’t a good place to watch the kids play, and the restrooms were very old and unhygienic. I can’t recommend it.

I went to play tennis with my group today, but after waiting a long time and trying several times to call, the owner still hadn’t shown up. The place looks very dirty, with plants growing inside and moss starting to form. Unreliable person, not recommended.

With the outside temperature at 4 degrees Celsius, we went to the indoor beach volleyball hall today, but it was pointless because there was no heating. We may as well have played outside. Apparently part of the heating system is broken, and when we asked for even a discount, they refused. Under these conditions, it’s no longer worth going there. I’d rather drive to Bonn or Düsseldorf from now on.

I booked this hotel on the morning I arrived, very spontaneously, and everything went smoothly. I paid under 50€ for one night with breakfast, which is a great price. In Cologne I’ve paid more before and gotten less. The room had standard basics: a TV, phone, small desk, large bed, and free Wi-Fi. It’s a little outside the center, which made it very quiet, and there’s plenty of parking. If I go to a concert in Cologne again, I’ll definitely book here.
