Falderhof

The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic, with one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The chefs deserve credit, and the wait staff were very pleasant. The staff at the hotel were friendly too, and the grounds were lovely, especially the picturesque courtyard. Rooms felt a bit dated, particularly the bathroom, while breakfast was lovely and varied, with gluten-free options as well. Several taxes were added to the bill, including one for breakfast. The hotel is very close to the train line, which is handy unless you're traveling with children and a buggy, since the city centre train stations have so many addicts. The parking lot seemed to be rented or something, and was being abused by some pretty obnoxious people living there.

That evening meal at the restaurant was amazing. The steak was the best I've ever had, and the red wine was pretty good too. The next morning, the high-pressure shower was a refreshing way to wake up. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

Breakfast was fresh and had a good selection. My room looked out over the inner courtyard, and both the room and bed were comfortable. The staff were very friendly. A great place to stay.

The restaurant serves delicious food, and the breakfast buffet is very good. It's a beautiful hotel, just a short train ride from Cologne.
