Breakfast in the dining room came with classical music, and the big windows looked out onto an idyllic garden. The owner usually helped serve and made sure guests were comfortable. We felt very at ease. The room was in a beautiful villa, furnished with lovely pieces that have a story, not the sort of hotel furniture you'd expect in a nursing home. The house itself is just as beautiful. There are good practical touches too: a bus goes to Heumarkt, and you can park across the street without driving around looking for a space.
