The receptionist was really friendly, and the location is handy, near a train station and about a 10-minute walk from the city center. Still, even for a budget hotel, the stay could have been better. We were there for three days and nobody asked about fresh towels or whether we wanted the room cleaned. The walls are so thin you can hear everything from next door, so you have to stay quiet all the time because your neighbors can hear you too.

We arrived well before check-in, and they let us leave our luggage even before the hotel had opened. The building was a bit old, but the staff were extremely welcoming and the location was great, which made that easy to overlook. It was a great stay.

The rooms felt a little stuffy, and the building is somewhat old, but I had a very pleasant four-day stay. The hotel is central and close to the metro. For the price, the service is really hard to find elsewhere, so the value is great.

The pictures make it look better than it feels in person. It's a very basic, tired place, and a comfort room felt more like a simple hostel room to me. Still, it's not far from the center, and the room had a kettle, cups, clean towels and a clean bed. If money's tight and you only need somewhere to sleep, it's okay.

Hotel Garni had a cozy feel, and the staff were welcoming and happy to help with questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the central location made it easy to get around the city. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
