City Hotel Storch

I stayed for a while, and both the room and toilet were really nice. I met the owner before checking out, and he was a very good person.

The location was perfect, just a lovely little walk to Köln central, and our room was clean and tidy. My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Ignore the bad reviews, they’re talking rubbish. BRILLIANT, and we’re definitely coming back. Thanks so much, it honestly was the best ❤️❤️🫶🫶

The staff are wonderful, and the owner is very kind. I come here every two years for an exhibition, and this hotel feels like a second home to me. Such lovely people.

The room was a decent size, comfortable, and clean, with good Wi-Fi, but the bathroom was tiny. The shower opened right onto the toilet with almost no space, and towels were drying over it, so remember to close the lid. The shower temperature kept swinging from very hot to a bit cold. We also lost power to the whole room when we switched on a light, even though the only other things plugged in were a phone and small TV. With no one at reception after 8pm, we had to find the breaker panel and reset it ourselves. The hotel was quiet, but traffic on the street below was audible through our closed windows.
