Landhotel Am Freischütz

There’s plenty of parking at the hotel, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly too. It feels old and dated, almost like a time machine, but that gives it some charm. Good for a stopover and a night’s sleep. If you want to be near a city, though, this isn’t the place.

A good overnight stop while driving through Germany. Free parking, a clean room, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was simple but good.

Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and clean rooms. It works well if you’re traveling by car. There’s no public transport nearby, and even though breakfast is meant to run until 10:00, many items were already gone by 9:00.

I’ve stayed here twice for work and have already booked another visit. It’s clean, has lots of parking, and there are shops, restaurants, and bars close by. The neighborhood is quiet, so opening the window at night didn’t keep me awake, though the rooms don’t have A/C and can get warm. Downstairs rooms have outside electric blinds that make them completely dark, which is unusual for the area. The bar is open in the evenings, and breakfast has plenty of options.
