The hotel is really nice, and the location and pricing were solid. But if you’re sensitive to heat, this may not work for you. While planning, I knew some hotels across the city were known to have no AC or inadequate AC, and I hoped this one wouldn’t be the same. I got unlucky. Even with the window open, the room felt like a sauna. The “cold AC” blew warm, room-temperature air, with barely any air coming out. I couldn’t sleep at all and was literally sweating in just my boxers. This review is for other heat-sensitive people, otherwise the place is great.

The staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. My superior single was spotless and roomy enough for two. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station, all on level ground, and the hotel has good facilities too. I’d definitely stay again.

The bed was comfortable and the small room was laid out well and very clean. I missed having a little fridge for cold water. The staff were helpful and the service was excellent. Good value for a short business trip, and it does what you need.

The rooms are really spacious, and the staff were so friendly. It’s good value, too, with a great central location. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Cologne.
