A dated, kitschy hotel or guesthouse. There was no breakfast. Fine for one night, and close to Cologne-Deutz, public transport, a few shops.

The guesthouse was clean and the staff were great. Breakfast was okay. My only complaint is that the dispensers had no shampoo or shower gel.

I was honestly shocked. That unpleasant musty, moldy smell hit me before we even got inside the room. I looked around, took in the place, and decided we weren't staying for an hour, never mind overnight.

The accommodation itself is adequate for sleeping, but I can't recommend this hotel after how rudely the owner treated me. When I asked about parking, the first response was, "We're in Cologne! If I had parking spaces, I'd charge exorbitant amounts!" The disrespect and cheekiness didn't stop there.

Warning, don't book. The place was run-down and completely overpriced, and the staff were unfriendly. We accidentally checked out 30 minutes late and were charged for another night without any warning. The owner still insists on charging us twice. I've stayed in plenty of run-down places, but never experienced anything like this. Customer service was zero percent.
