I booked this nice hotel for a short overnight stopover, and Olga at reception was very friendly and helpful. One thing could be better: the shower areas feel dated because they use shower curtains.

We could walk our dog near the beach, as the hotel allows pets and is on the outskirts. The breakfast spread was quite good too. I really recommend it.

The train station is a bit far away, but I have no other complaints. Breakfast, staff, and cleaning were all amazing. I’d stay there again.

2/10
Breakfast was disappointing, and food had run out by 9:00 AM even though service continued until 10:00. Reception being staffed only from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM was inconvenient as well. The rugs hotel fell well short of what I expect from a 4-star place. It needed a lot of maintenance: exposed wires and pipes looked bad and seemed potentially dangerous, the elevator made suspicious noises and didn’t appear to be checked, the staircase was held together with duct tape, and the bed frame was in poor repair. My stay was a major disappointment.

Parking can be tricky, so I’d suggest taking one of the hotel’s garage spaces. Getting out is awkward, but a staff member will drive the car out for you. The hotel is modern, the staff are very friendly, and breakfast is good. Its location is excellent, right on the Rhine banks, with a nature preserve about a 20-minute jog away. It’s a lovely route for a walk or run.
