Spanien Flair mitten in Köln

We spent a full week here and had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean, and the location is really nice, near the tram stop. Check-in was quick and simple. Just keep in mind it's more like an Airbnb or room rental, so don't compare it to a hotel.

The apartment had plenty of space and was well equipped, though it could've been cleaner. I didn't find it as bad as some of the comments here suggest. Still, for €120 a night I could get a decent hotel room, so it didn't feel worth the price.

The furnishings were high quality and the apartment itself could have been nice, but it was absolutely filthy. Floors, surfaces, furniture, dishes and the bathroom were all dirty, with little bits of glass lying around, even in the bathroom. It also smelled strongly of marijuana smoke despite being listed as non-smoking. The sofa bed was dirty and reeked of smoke, and the kitchen had very little equipment. We complained and were told it would be cleaned while we were out. If anyone did come, the difference was barely visible. We complained again and were promised another cleaning, but that either didn't happen or was done poorly.

NOT RECOMMENDED! The place smelled terrible and was absolutely filthy. There was food left in the oven by the previous tenants, and an alcohol stain on the sofa. When we asked for a refund so we could find somewhere else, the landlady got unfriendly and hung up.
