There isn't much nearby, and it's a 15-minute walk into town. The hotel sits quietly across the river, with no staff at reception at night. The staff we met were very friendly. Our stay was pleasant, though the room felt cold; turning on the heat made it very dry, and I woke up with a sore throat.

We loved the castle view from our room, and the little balcony was lovely. I'd pay extra for a river-view room. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the staff were helpful when we tried to book dinner. Breakfast was fantastic. The terraces looked nice, but it was too cold for us to sit outside. It's not far to the bridge and downtown, though keep in mind the castle is about a 40-minute walk.

The breakfast buffet had fresh food and a good range of choices, and they kept refilling it. We also had a very nice room overlooking the castle.

The rooms are large and modern, with a great view. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and it was nice that the hot breakfast items were cooked to order. There's also a well-equipped fitness room.

Set beside a vineyard, the hotel has great castle views. The service is lovely and the rooms are immaculate. It's a wonderful place, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting.
