The portions are generous for a very fair price, and the staff are so welcoming, even with special requests. I've been here five times now and have loved the Hungarian flavors in everything I've tried, including the sauce and salad. I'll definitely keep coming back.
The breakfast was excellent, and my room was spacious and just right. The receptionist really went out of her way to help with what guests needed, and the whole place had a fabulous feel. For the price of a guesthouse, this felt like a five-star hotel. Nothing to complain about. I'll be back.
We arrived from Austria to find the hotel doors locked, even though our booking was still valid. It had apparently been closed for two weeks, but nobody told us or cancelled the reservation, so we had to find somewhere else to stay. Outrageous!
We tried it on a whim yesterday, five of us, and the meal was fantastic to look at and eat. You can tell they enjoy working there, especially when someone sings now and then from the kitchen. The people were lovely too. Finally, delicious food here again.
There’s a big selection of Hungarian wines at reasonable prices, and the service was friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the chef. The salmon was very good, and the vegetables were cooked through but still crunchy. The portions were large, yet we finished everything because it was so flavorful. 5/5 stars 🌟 I’ll be back and recommend it.
