Holzmichel FEWO mit Balkon

The balcony was a highlight, with plenty of space, good lighting, seating, and a lovely view of the church. Inside, the rooms were charmingly furnished and spotless, nothing was broken, and all the appliances worked properly. They'd even left extra pillows and blankets. The guesthouse is on the fourth floor, but there's a lift that seemed reliable, even if you're a little uneasy about lifts. We stayed for a weekend and found plenty to like. We've tried a fair number of guesthouses, hotels, and rooms, and this is one of the best. There were a few small issues for us: no bin in the bathroom, which meant trips to the kitchen to throw away some hygiene items, and the mattress felt quite worn to both my partner and me. It was also noisy until 4 a.m. on our last night, apparently because of a party next door. That seems to have been bad luck, judging by other reviews, and isn't something the guesthouse could control. Even with those drawbacks, we were very impressed and would definitely stay again. The good points mattered much more, and hopefully our feedback can help with improvements.
