10/10
The room and bathroom were both large, and everything was immaculate and tastefully done. There was complimentary tea and coffee, with a boiler in the room, and the place felt luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. I expected an inn-style place like the ones common in the US, since Cottbus is far from Germany’s major centres and this is a Best Western hotel. Instead, it exceeded my expectations. I loved it and highly recommend it if you’re near Cottbus and need somewhere nice to stay, especially with a restaurant on the premises.

We were driving back to Denmark from our wedding in Slovakia and picked this hotel almost at random for a break and a night’s sleep. We arrived around 11pm, and everything was ready for us. Check-in took maybe two minutes. The room was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a shame we only had a few hours there. Everything went smoothly and felt perfect, and it was well worth the money. With more time, it would have been even better. I’d love to return for a proper stay, and warmly recommend the hotel.

A really pretty, clean house with very friendly staff. The rooms are quite large, even the smallest ones, which are as big as suites in some other hotels.

The service really stood out, and the room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was delicious too.

I loved the location and the room. A few basics would make this a full five stars for me: USB ports, plus hand soap and tissues kept topped up.
