Out on the little rustic terrace, looking over the green meadow and hearing the schnitzel being tenderized in the kitchen, it’s easy to feel at home here. This place suits you if you like a rural feel and a short menu of freshly made German classics over fancy surroundings or Michelin-star fusion cooking. You’ve already sent your message. We’d recommend the schnitzel with Zig sauce and fried potatoes, or the liver with fried potatoes. That liver was the best we’ve had in ages. Definitely recommend it.

Never again. I was only there for two nights, but the owner tried to charge me for three. At 80 EUR a night, the room was ridiculous: no shower gel, no fridge, furnishings straight from the 80s, and a TV smaller than a tablet. Breakfast was a joke too, just two pre-baked bread slices, cheap Aldi yogurt, the cheapest salami, and some brown liquid they called coffee. There was no friendliness at all. Stay far away!

We keep coming back and are made to feel welcome each time. The family atmosphere is something we really value, and the prices are fair with generous portions. Schnitzel is our favorite, especially since it’s always made fresh. You can hear them tenderizing it after you order. The occasional game dishes are worth trying too. Definitely recommend it!

The fried potatoes were world-class, and I’d also recommend the mushroom soup. The service was friendly, and there’s a sunny terrace. It made for a lovely break on our hike, and we’d gladly return. Thanks so much!
