Das Hotel war sehr nett, und das Personal war freundlich. Beim Frühstück war die Auswahl ausreichend, aber Sonderwünsche mussten extra bezahlt werden. Das Abendessen mit Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Dessert war sehr gut, und auch das Buffet mit Schlachteplatte war Spitze. Die sauberen Badezimmer mit der niedrigen Toilette wären eigentlich nur vier Sterne wert gewesen. Aber die Sauna, die einmal kostenlos und danach kostenpflichtig war, hat das ausgeglichen. Deshalb fünf Sterne.

The staff were consistently friendly and easy to approach, and the property looked lovely with its Advent decorations. We stayed four nights, from November 30th to December 4th, 2025, for a short break. For the price, both the room amenities and food were appropriate. I’d recommend it to people who aren’t especially demanding.

On a group tour, so I ended up staying here, though I wouldn’t have chosen it myself. The area is quite remote, and the hotel feels that way too: basic and outdated throughout. There were leaves on the balcony, which made it look dirty, and several cheap plastic holders were broken. The TV didn’t work. The shower cubicle is tiny and has a curtain, probably only comfortable for very slim people. The evening buffet and breakfast were in line with the hotel’s standard. The receptionist seemed either to be in the wrong job or doing it unwillingly. We couldn’t get a coffee after arriving at 4 pm. The sauna is €15 per person. Dogs are tolerated as a last resort, but don’t seem welcome. Two stars for service, thanks to the waiter who was very friendly that evening.

The location worked well for us, with hiking trails nearby and the train station within walking distance. We had a lovely short stay as a young family, and would definitely recommend the hotel for a quick trip. The building is showing its age, but everything was clean and the service friendly. Breakfast was limited, though there was something for everyone and it tasted good. For the price, it was definitely enough. Dinner was very good. We got the evening menu in the morning and could pick between two main courses. We found something we liked quickly, though I can imagine that might have been harder for other people. Someone checked whether we wanted anything else while we were choosing, so maybe the kitchen would have been open to a special request.
