The area worked well for exploring on foot. The "Alte Liebe" viewing platform, the "Hamburg Lighthouse," and the "Pilotsenviertel" are all nearby, and the beach with its beach chairs is under a 20-minute walk away. At Dock6, the apartment was just as pictured, clean, modern, and well cared for. Picking up the key right at the apartment was easy too.

We had a great time from December 31st to January 4th. The owners were really friendly, and we’d definitely come back. There are lots of restaurants close by; we ate at Kuhlinaria yesterday, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Apartment No. 10 matched its online description, and it was modern and clean. We were also delighted to find a bottle of sparkling wine in the kitchen. No idea if that’s usual or a New Year’s Eve treat, but thank you! ☺️ Highly recommended from start to finish. 🤩

Free parking and a handy spot near the old town and city center were definite pluses, even though the neighborhood itself isn't especially attractive. The bar downstairs got a bit noisy on both nights of our weekend stay. Our room was clean, with a nice bathroom and walk-in shower. The small kitchenette had everything we needed. All in all, a nice place to stay.

I know the contract technically allowed it, but I was disappointed that the hotel wouldn't accept my cancellation, even partially. Some leniency would have been appreciated.

We left our car in the hotel's large parking lot while we were away on our two-day trip to Heligoland, after staying one night. That was a great help. The staff were excellent, and both the personal contact and WhatsApp communication were really good. The room was lovely, clean, and tidy, and we slept well. Being close to the harbor and the "Alte Liebe" was fantastic too. 100% recommend.
