It’s a peaceful spot, and the staff were friendly. The room was clean, and breakfast was perfect. The cake and restaurant food were delicious too. My only gripe was that there was no shower gel in the room.

The place has that northern coastal kind of friendliness, a bit rough around the edges but warm-hearted. There are several health clubs and courses, of course. The hotel itself is nice, though I wouldn’t call it four-star. The rooms feel cheap and aren’t well equipped.

The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, and dinner was a really tasty buffet with regional products. We stayed at the Borstel-Treff for a family celebration and spent the night. The hotel grounds are beautiful and spacious, with lots of room to relax. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Breakfast was more than ample, and the restaurant served good food. The rooms were decent too. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere in Mecklenburg, though, and the service staff seemed somewhat confused and unprofessional.

We only ate there twice, but both meals were absolutely delicious, proper German cuisine. The staff were very friendly, and dogs are allowed. It seems like a nice, high-quality hotel, with an indoor pool and sauna. Horseback riding and carriage rides are available too.
