The village feels like a little storybook, with its old houses and lanes. At la Villa Kronenburg, we had a roomy place with a sauna, all the facilities we needed, and a lovely view. The room was clean and pretty, and the staff were warm and ready to help. We enjoyed the food and breakfast, too. There are a few lovely terraces and a pool, and the whole place has a sense that time has stood still. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return ❤️

The area is interesting and the restaurant is good, but the rooms need work. The building is very old, which makes staying in them challenging and is a significant drawback. I’d give the service and location four stars, but the rooms only two.

We stopped in on a cold December morning to warm up our boys, aged 3 and 4. The hotel and restaurant were officially closed, but the friendly host still made us lovely coffee and hot chocolate. It’s a gorgeous place, and I imagine the village must be magical under snow, though we didn’t get any.

We booked for ten, and the tables were set beautifully when we arrived. The service was attentive and patient, and our food and drinks came quickly. Everything we ate was delicious and high quality, with a nice selection and just-right portions. We’d happily dine here again.

After a long day walking, being able to have dinner in the restaurant downstairs was just what we needed. We liked the comfortable room, with its slightly historic feel, and the receptionist went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Kronenburg. Thank you so much :-) Lisbeth and Bertel from Denmark
