It's a good hotel, and breakfast is good too. The shower being mounted at a metre or lower is a shame. Maybe they do that in all the rooms to save water. I agree we need to save water, but not that way.

My new wife and I stayed here before Christmas 2013 while waiting for our new house to become available. The staff seemed nice at first. Then, without warning, they started refusing our mail, including Christmas cookies from Grandma and the art supplies I was relying on. Not cool at all.

The surroundings are peaceful and road access is easy, so it works well as a base for people visiting Berlin. I'd say it's more suited to older people, though the cooking is poor.

The place was clean and tidy, and breakfast was excellent. It would have been better to have tea and coffee making equipment in the room.

A peaceful, clean and quiet place close to Berlin. Highly recommend.
