Hotel Kloster Damme

The sunny courtyard at the bistro was a lovely spot to sit, and the location is really nice. Staff did their best and handled special requests very well, though the food selection was limited, with mostly bread in the evening. The place feels more like a hostel, but it worked well enough for a conference. Our room was very noisy, the shower smelled, and there was no soap or decent towels. The mattress was very hard, the beds too long, and we often got lost finding our way around.

A peaceful country hotel with welcoming staff. My room was clean, fresh, and quite large, and the mattress was super comfortable. I liked everything here and would come back if I get the chance.

The hosts were wonderfully flexible, and booking one day at a time was never an issue. Their help and support meant a lot to me during a very special time in my life, and I felt at ease from the start. The hotel sits among lovely green surroundings, in a central spot that still feels quiet. My room was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, so it felt like home. Breakfast was carefully prepared and served in such a cozy room that it put a smile on my face each morning. I can wholeheartedly recommend the place, and I’ll definitely return. Thank you for everything.

Several hiking paths begin right at the hotel, and Dünnersee lake and its nature reserves are just a short distance away. It's quietly set in the forest, with clean, spacious rooms and none of the extra frills like a spa. The staff were cheerful and so friendly, I'd give them 10 stars. They put together a great breakfast and take care of everything else too. Thanks for the really warm service.
