B&B Hotel Darmstadt

I got exactly what I needed for a late Sunday night: a clean, cool room, and check-in at the terminal was easy even though I arrived late. The room and bathroom had great amenities. Breakfast was basic but plenty to get the day started, and I liked that the smaller selection meant less waste. I would’ve liked some croissants, though.

The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and the hotel had all the services I needed, with good quality throughout. It’s cozy and convenient, close to Darmstadt main train station. I was there for business and would highly recommend it for work trips.

This is the second time my friend has travelled there for work, and both times they had trouble checking in because they couldn’t use the machine. That’s truly UNACCEPTABLE. They called reception, but no one answered, so they had to book another hotel. I won’t come back and don’t recommend it to anyone.

We stopped here twice on our Eurotrip, once each way, to rest for the night. It was pet friendly, which was a huge win for us, and the rooms were clean and QUIET, with very comfortable beds. Booking and check-in were smooth and flexible around our needs instead of being rigid about policy. The staff were nice and very helpful, even the grumpy guy smiled at me in the end! Thanks for everything!
