Food was great, and there are plenty of walks and short hikes nearby. The staff were super friendly, apart from in the shop, and they handled my special request for an important meeting. It’s a small oasis for rest and relaxation, and the team does its best to make the stay comfortable. The spa offering is great too. The downsides are the weak signal and WiFi, plus the remote location, which is hard to reach without a car.

The rooms were perfectly adequate, and the wellness area was extensive and very nice. Jammertal is peaceful and relaxing, and the surrounding area is worth exploring on foot or by bike. The buffet seems geared toward meat eaters. Vegetarians and vegans get a small corner, but there are no standout dishes, just things like fried rice, pasta, and a lentil and vegetable section. Being away from home could be a good chance to introduce guests to alternatives, but that opportunity is missed. Organic food seemed to be out of stock, or management isn’t going beyond greenwashing. The boundary between textile and no-textile areas felt unclear, to the detriment of those without clothing. Why have sun loungers in the FKK section while people are still dressed? I also felt smokers continued to receive a warm welcome.

The food was wonderful, and it was a very relaxing weekend.

The morning buffet is a little pricey, but the location and homemade items make up for it. The atmosphere was okay, and anyone who really likes saunas should find one to suit them. We booked the wellness day experience, and the staff were very friendly when we arrived. Unfortunately, my massage was cut short. We couldn’t use the solarium we’d paid for because it was constantly blocked, and the same happened with the Hydrojet. My s.o. is a bit more athletic than I am, so the masseuse also had trouble giving him a massage.
