The place seems to host plenty of events and off-site trainings. We had dinner there and found it cozy, with really lovely staff. It looks family-run, and they seem to genuinely care 🙃

We slept comfortably, and parking was handy. The staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and gave us a great start to the day, and my evening meal was delicious, even though it was vegan.

Sunday was a bit of a problem: the whole hotel was closed, and we were shown to our room by someone we think was the owner. Fortunately, there was a pizza and bar place about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms were good, and both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Strange hotel, though. Don't arrive on a Sunday.

The breakfast is superb, and the rooms are wonderful. We always ask for one with a door to the garden. This is our second visit, and we’ll come back again. We’ve got three more nights here now.

Mr. Hirt is so nice and always has a smile for guests, and the rest of the staff are very kind too. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the prices are good, and breakfast has lots of options and tastes very good. It’s a great place to stay in this area. My only reason for not giving five stars is the town: there’s no supermarket near the hotel, and the closest one is around 10 to 12 minutes away by car.
