It was affordable, modest, clean, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen of its own. The balcony was a nice place to meet other guests. The main station is walkable, and there's an Edeka Supermarket nearby; the guesthouse of Goethe Institute is just below. Loved it.

We were happy we stayed here, even though it was hot that time of year. Our family had two rooms for five kids aged 11, 15, and 16, plus two adults, and we'd definitely come back. The station is around a 7-8 minute walk, and the old town is another 12 minutes or so from there. There are plenty of places to eat, plus a park. Our stay was wonderful. Win Fest happened to be on during our arrival week, July 2-5, which was a big surprise and made for a date night.

The room was okay and the bathroom acceptable, but the price didn't feel worth it. There's no elevator, and the laundry setup is poor: just three machines, with expensive dryers that didn't work properly. After two hours, our clothes were still wet and smelled. We were also woken often at night by the heavy corridor door slamming loudly.

The room was spacious and the facilities were good. It's about a kilometre's walk to the town centre, which was fine for us. A great hostel hotel.

The staff were really helpful and sorted out a bathroom problem straight away. I loved the shared kitchen, even more so because they had fresh cut flowers in the kitchen and dining area. The room was lovely too. This is the best hostel I've stayed in, and I can only recommend it.
