Our family of five had loads of room at the Gardenhouse, and we would definitely recommend it. The kids shared the upstairs bedrooms and took turns on the super comfy convertible sofas downstairs. The big TV and tall bar-style table worked well for meals and family game night. It could feel tight if six tall adult men were around that table, as my husband is tall, but it was perfect for a family with older kids. The two roomy bathrooms were a highlight, with good showers, plenty of hot water, and strong pressure. The house has been newly renovated in a sleek, modern style. There was a large entry area set apart from the rest of the house for wet snow gear, plus lots of heaters to dry gloves and scarves. Everything was within walking distance, including the adorable Winter Village (Weihnachtsmarkt), and having private parking on site was really convenient. The “Hausmeister” was friendly and helped us clear the driveway. We were there on a particularly snowy weekend, though, and were glad we'd brought our own snow shovel.
