We all slept very well in the excellent beds. The apartment was beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, in a quiet spot that's still central. Communication with the very friendly landlord was excellent. We'd love to return!

Our honeymoon took us back to our favorite place, where we could show our children the beauty of our home region. The apartment was a comfortable place to stay, beautifully furnished, with everything we needed, including a baby crib. Detmold's city center is an easy walk away, and there are great outings with children around the region. We'd love to come back.

The phone contact with the property managers was pleasant and hassle-free. We had a wonderful few days here, and the apartment was clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. Its small south-facing terrace was lovely for a bit of sun, even in October. The arrangement is worth knowing about: two people share one of the three ground-floor bedrooms, while the other two stay locked and unused. Permanent residents rent the first and second floors, and they didn't disturb us. The charming center of Detmold, with its shops and restaurants, is a five-minute walk away. The surrounding area is great for walking, and we especially enjoyed the Pivitker Wasserweg. Definitely worth five stars!

We own a luxury vacation apartment ourselves, so we're pretty discerning, and we can highly recommend Lieblingsnest. It's in a completely renovated period building, with a lovely mix of modern and antique furnishings. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were extensive. The location is central but quiet, a great base for excursions, and the value for money was excellent. There's private parking and a wonderful south-facing veranda for winding down at the end of the day. Friendly service too. We've already booked our next stay.
